Sayanti Bhattacharya, MD, MS, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist at Cognitive Psychiatry of Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Since 2013, Dr. Bhattacharya has been a member of the North Carolina Psychiatric Association and the American Psychiatric Association. She is also a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Bhattacharya’s goal is to help people lead a full, functional life. She incorporates principles of education, psychodynamic therapy, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. No matter the developmental phase, Dr. Bhattacharya appreciates and takes into account the challenges unique to each stage of life.
