Olivia Meadows, PMHNP-BC is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a primary focus of helping individuals, ages 13-65, who are struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.
Olivia is originally from a small town in Maine. Olivia worked as a travel nurse which led her to her new home base in North Carolina where she has spent the last 2 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Olivia practiced as psychiatric registered nurse for 4 years and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University with a specialization in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program.
With Olivia’s patient-centered care approach, her goal is to truly understand you, your concerns, and your struggles. She will make recommendations, but you and Olivia can work together to find the best treatment plan that works for you. Olivia will empathize with you and carefully listen to your struggles allowing your treatment plan to be strategically determined based on your current situation along with your future goals. Olivia specializes in medication management, psychoeducation, individual psychotherapy, along with helping you to make those much-needed lifestyle adjustments such as a healthy diet, exercise, and improved quality of sleep, in order to maximize your mental health treatment goals.
